Day 14 - Mar. 3 - Key West

Gordon had earplugs in.  Charles too but incorrectly.  Charles reports such a racket  at 11pm from the room above that he dressed went upstairs and "dressed down" five intoxicated college kids partying loudly.  Knowing Charles I'm sure he was wearing a rage face and likely terrified the kids who were not thinking about anything except their fun. The kids were apparently startled but received a good life lesson.  Gordon slept blissfully throughout the ordeal. (The kids apologized the next day).

Gordon left at 6am to have the oil changed in the FJ returning to the hotel at 9.  We then took off on walk to the Hemmingway House to take some more photos of Ernest's Key West home.

We were both hungery afterward at eleven so stopped at Five Guys for a burger.  Neither of us had been to a FG before and were pleasantly surprised.  We thought the burgers were quit good.

Decided to head back to the hotel and pool for some sun and reading after a few minutes enjoying the room A/C.  But Charles fell asleep so the pool waited a couple of hours.

We did the pool finally and then went to Kelleys for happy hour.  A couple of beers and a dozen wings later we left and stopped for a cigar at the Gentlemans Cigar Club.

One last walk and a few more shots at dusk then pack it in for today.
