Day 12 - Mar. 1 - Key West - Laundry Day +

Up at 6:30, pack the laundry and load into the FJ.  Hotel gate was open so we slipped out and headed for Camille's.  Another favorite breakfast spot with the best Buckwheat Pancakes.  We were early.  Camille's wasn't open yet so we went looking for a coin laundry.  Found one three blocks away that had a drop off service.  Nice.  Left the laundry and headed back for breakfast. Charles opted for the bacon and cheese omelet.  Everything was excellent as we had come to expect after many previous visits.

Did some walking then stumbled on a conch blowing contest almost right across the street from our hotel.  One heard the horn sounds but to find the contest one must walk down a small path between homes.  And wow.  A back yard is revealed complete with stage and seating for maybe a hundred.  

Many more people than chairs and dozens are standing around the perimeter of the yard.  Then the blowing begins.  Many age categories.  Age 3 to 85.  Great fun.
