This stop is the Wide World of Fishing aka Bass Pro Shop. Here there is a great assortment of all things salt water fishing but our target is ultra lightweight shirts that both of us enjoy wearing in hot weather. We each bought a shirt and a pair of shorts.
Exiting the back door of the shop we immediately are at the Islamorada Fish Company. The two places seem sort of the same operation. We ordered the above fare along with the requisite Stella and enjoyed the waterfront antics of the many pelicans fishing near shore.
Continued on to Sombrero Beach on Marathon Key for a nice walk and wade.
Water was calm and warm. Just perfect. Took a few photos then on to Banana Bay Resort also on Marathon where we checked in for the night. Unpacked and then headed to the pool for a late afternoon swim. Pool was very nice and nearly empty. Dressed again and took off to another favorite fish restaurant Keys Fisheries and Marina.
We both had more huge shrimp served fried with a slightly sweet mango relish. Yummy.
